Privacy policy

How personal information sent through the quote and inquiry forms is handled.

Effective October 1, 2026

Alex Kim (the “Operator”) establishes and discloses this privacy policy under Article 30 of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act, to protect personal information and to handle related concerns promptly.

This English translation is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.

1.Information collected and how

The following information is collected through the website’s quote and inquiry forms and by email.

  • Quote request: name, email, translation direction, details (required) / company, phone, document type, length, deadline, purpose, file link, NDA request (optional)
  • Quick quote: name, email, translation direction, document type and length (required) / deadline, NDA request (optional)
  • General inquiry: name, email, message (required)
  • When you use the website, the hosting server may automatically record access logs (IP address, browser information, time of access).
  • If a document sent for translation contains personal information, it is used only for the translation work.

2.Purpose

Information is used only to prepare quotes, answer inquiries and communicate about translation jobs, and for no other purpose.

3.Retention

Information is kept as long as needed to handle your quote or inquiry and deleted without delay one year after it is resolved, or sooner if you ask for it to be deleted.

If an inquiry leads to a translation job, transaction records that the law requires to be kept may be kept for the required period.

4.How information is destroyed

Information is destroyed without delay once the retention period ends or its purpose is fulfilled. Electronic files such as emails, form submissions and working files are deleted so they cannot be recovered; paper documents are shredded.

Personal information is not provided to third parties except with your consent or where the law specifically requires it.
